Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome referred to as AIDS is a serious infectious disease that attacks the defense system. Caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), AIDS progressively reduces the ability of the individual to fight infections and diseases. Infection of HIV primarily occurs through exchange of bodily fluids. Early detection and
